Respected Dharma Masters, wise advisors, and Dharma friends,
我叫徐士捷，法名親捷。我每週有兩天左右，在萬佛城建設與維修部門協助科技相關的工作。從（舊金山東灣）佛利蒙市來，單程車程約三小時。 常有人問我開車會不會累，其實沿途風景隨季節變換很美麗。今天我想跟大家分享 一些我來到法界佛教總會（法總）的因緣，以及在柏克萊聖寺和萬佛城的一些經歷。
My name is Jerry Hsu, my Dharma name is Chin-Jie. I come to the City of Ten Thousand Buddhas (CTTB) about two days a week from Fremont to help in the CTTB Building and Ground department on technology related projects. The drive takes about three hours one way. People often ask me if the drive is tiring, but it’s actually quite beautiful, and scenery changes with the seasons. Today I want to share a few stories on how I came to the DRBA, and a few stories I encountered at the Berkeley Buddhist Monastery and the CTTB.

我是近剛。今天的題目：緬懷大慈悲父—宣公上人。今年是西元2025年，也是大慈悲父宣公人涅槃三十週年了。記得在1995年5月3日，第一次讀誦經典《金剛經》，也不懂三稱 「南無本師釋牟尼佛」及開經偈，完全以看小說的心態來讀誦。

Good evening, everyone, Amituofo. I am Peggy Li. I was born and raised in China. I spent my most formative years in Southern California, and currently I am working in San Francisco. 發菩提心 住菩薩道
比丘尼恒揚法師2024年10月22日晚間講於萬佛聖城大殿
阿彌陀佛，諸佛菩薩、師父上人、各位尊敬的法師、居士們，大家阿彌陀佛。 今天是恒揚在這裡跟大家結法緣。我十歲的時候學佛，第一個學佛的地方是一個佛教會，是居士辦的佛教會。 那個佛教會供奉觀世音菩薩。我在那邊學佛十一年後，二十一歲就跟隨上人出家。
All Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, Venerable Master, all Dharma Masters, all good-knowing advisors, and all laypeople, Amitabha. This is Heng Yang, and today it’s my turn to tie Dharma affinities with everyone. I started learning Buddhism when I was 10 years old, and at that time, I participated in a layperson’s Buddhist society, Proper Faith Society. This society specifically honored and respected Guanyin Bodhisattva. I was part of that society for eleven years until I was 21 years old, and then I followed the Venerable Master and left home under him.

金佛寺是文殊菩薩的道場，對我來說，是個有法有食的地方，法緣興盛。每週五的網路佛學課程,華屋三探。取《楞嚴經》裡的“忽蒙天王，賜與華屋；雖獲大宅，要因門入”。下半年主要是禪修的課程。

My name is Natividad Familia Pereyra (which means Family and Christmas) But my Dharma name is Jin Ren (Patience) I was born in a small country in the Caribbean islands called the Dominican Republic. (This country is near Cuba and Puerto Rico, we share the island with Haiti.)
